Minda Sanborn,
LMFT
Minda helps clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress with a personalized, evidence-based approach that fosters growth and empowerment.
At The Art of Healing, we believe that healing is both an art and a journey of reconnection—to yourself, your relationships, and your sense of purpose. Our team of therapists offers a compassionate and creative approach to growth, supporting clients of all ages as they move through life’s transitions, challenges, and opportunities for change.
We view therapy as a collaborative space where you can explore what’s working, what’s not, and what might be possible. Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, trauma, ADHD, relationship concerns, parenting, perinatal or postpartum mental health, LGBTQ+ identity and relationships, support for your child, or a sense of disconnection, our therapists bring expertise, curiosity, and genuine care to every session.
We believe meaningful change happens in safe, trusting relationships. Our therapists meet you where you are with empathy, curiosity, and authenticity. We offer individual, couples, and family therapy tailored to your goals, needs, identities, relationships, and lived experience.
While traditional talk therapy can be powerful, some experiences live beyond words. Our practice integrates creative, experiential, and body-based approaches, including art therapy, play therapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, DBT skills, and mindfulness. These approaches can help clients access deeper understanding, emotional regulation, self-expression, and healing through multiple pathways.
We recognize and celebrate neurodiversity, creativity, sensitivity, and intensity as meaningful parts of how people experience the world. We work with children, teens, and adults who are gifted, twice-exceptional, ADHD, AuDHD, autistic, sensory-sensitive, or highly sensitive. Our approach prioritizes self-understanding, acceptance, nervous system support, practical tools, and environments where clients can feel more fully themselves.
At The Art of Healing, we are committed to creating a space where every person feels genuinely welcomed, respected, and valued. Our team practices cultural humility, honors each person’s story, and approaches identity, relationships, family, culture, and community with openness and care.
We also recognize that systems of oppression, discrimination, marginalization, and trauma deeply affect mental health. Our therapists work to hold space for those realities while supporting empowerment, authenticity, belonging, and connection.
We honor the full spectrum of who you are - mind, body, relationships, identity, creativity, culture, and spirit. Many of our clients are exploring parenting, relationships, grief, spirituality, neurodivergence, life transitions, or creative expression as part of their healing process. Our therapists bring a trauma-informed, integrative lens to help you reconnect with your authentic self and move toward a more grounded, meaningful life.
